Historical Old Mill Portarlington

Beach Terrace Cafe

Ocean Grove

Totally pleasurable experience with it's warm, quirky ambience, friendly staff, attractive menu, deliciously fresh food, surprising daily menu, and an overall genuine feel-good vibe.

The decor has a quirky nautical reference, and there are a few booths for that added privacy if you would like to read, or do some online navigating making the most of the cafe's free wi-fi.

Yes, I highly recommend a visit, and will definitely be going again.

The Blues Train

Queenscliff

What's not to love about The Blues Train experience? Music, dancing, dining, scenery, and ambience, all in one! Outstanding Blues entertainment, lovely buffet dinner, gorgeous scenic views, leading entertainment, and lots of fun!

Would I go again? YES!

Do I recommend it? YES!

Queenscliffe Lighthouse Theatre Group

Bellarine, Victoria

A theatre group based on our Bellarine, run solely by volunteers, receiving no Government assistance.

The Queenscliffe Lighthouse Theatre Group started with just eight founders 18 years ago, back in 2001.

Today there are over 80 volunteers ranging in age from early teens right through to eighties.

The Theatre Group provides an abundance of opportunities for members to perform on stage or to assist with off stage duties such as wardrobe, props, lighting and front of house, with a common synergy to entertain the people of the Bellarine Peninsula.

Basils Farm

Swan Bay, Bellarine, Victoria

If you are looking for one of the best places on the Bellarine to have a drink or two and a bite to eat, then Basils Farm is a great choice!

Stunning scenic views looking across Swan Bay to Queenscliff, tranquil, well manicured gardens, nearby lake with coastal birds visiting, and an incredible fresh herbs and veggies garden. Plus of course cellar door for wine tasting!

Sounds picture perfect don't you agree?

The Fig Tree Store

StLeonards, Bellarine, Victoria

The Fig Tree Store boasts a Mediterranean charm in both its ambience and menu. What better location than seaside St Leonards, where you can certainly view the water and pier from its front door, or perhaps inhale the fresh air with its outdoor street seating, and feel the seaside vibe.

I do recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Van Loon's Nursery

Grubb Road Wallington, Bellarine, Victoria

This place has it all, and is great to stop by and visit any time!

Upon entering you cannot help but to browse the beautiful and tastefully decorated gift store, which has you intrigued at all the different styles and unique little finds.

Onto the Garden Nursery... Lush greenery, healthy vibrant plants, massive selection of pots, windchimes, garden decor plus more.

As you make your way around the well laid out nursery, you will come across friendly staff with their smiling faces as they go about their tasks, and this is always a wonderful thing to see to help lift the spirits.

But wait, there's more! Nestled amongst it all is a welcoming indoor and outdoor cafe which i can tell you upon each of my visits to the Van Loon's Cafe, I have encountered a very tantalising cake selection.

Van Loons will certainly add to your favorites list and is highly worth a visit.
